The 15th edition of the Magnalonga of Corlo di Formigine MO will take place on Sunday 1 May 2022, following two years of forced stop due to the pandemic.

The Corlo Magnalonga is 15 years old this year, and was created after that, in 2005, some of the current organizers took part in another Magnalonga, the one in Valpolicella, and decided to propose the same formula again in Corlo.

The idea behind the Corlo Magnalonga is to allow you to taste different food and wine products and typical dishes of Modena, in a rural context, in order to make all participants feel welcomed as at home, but at the same time free, as you feel. in the country side.

In recent years the event has attracted over 3,000 people in each edition, both from our region, the rest of Italy and even from abroad.

After two years of stoppage, it is therefore with great pleasure that this splendid event is resumed, which is sure to attract an ever-growing audience of participants.

 

The itinerary of the Magnalonga.

The route will develop in 12 stages, through which the participants walking in groups will be able to draw a route through the countryside.

At each stage you can find a station that “themed” will offer a taste of a typical and artisanal product from Modena.

Furthermore, at each stage, the participants will find musical bands and lots of good wine to welcome them.

At the 7th stage, entitled “Sorbet stage“, you will be guests in the park of the Antica Acetaia Andrea Mussini, famous for its traditional production of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena D.O.P. The farm and the park are immersed in the vineyards of Lambrusco Graspa Rossa and Trebbiano di Spagna.
The stop will be enlivened by a background music of the rock band and the consumption of the sorbet of the Micor company in Formigine and other surprises.

Unfortunately, due to capacity reasons, given the large number of participants in the Magnalonga, a visit to the vinegar factory will not be possible. For those who wish, however, we offer the possibility of scheduling any visits upon specific request.

We will be happy to welcome all participants to the event in the vinegar park and in the rural context of our Modena countryside. Hospitality will not disappoint you!

Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena D.O.P. it is a typical product of our area, also represented by Parmigiano Reggiano, Lambrusco, Tortellino, Zampone, and other delights that make Modenese cuisine a unique excellence.
Balsamic Vinegar D.O.P. it is aged in barrels of precious woods and left to age for years, following a scrupulous discipline. Only if it reaches the required values ​​is it bottled by the Consortia that guarantee its quality.
